Hot Metal Coatings, (HMC) was founded in 1976. We are a closely held private company whose primary business is the formulation and manufacturing of refractory coatings, proprietary inoculants and carbon raisers for foundries and similar industries. HMC and our sister company, HMC Design & Fabrication, also provide services to foundries such as ladle and trough maintenance and fabrication. HMC Design & Fabrication also specializes in providing design and fabrication services to meet the needs of our clients.
HMC is located in Birmingham, Alabama and we have over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing infrastructure within our eight acre compound along with bulk processing and storage.
